Product Description

This USB Type-C Hub with USB-C DP Alt Mode Output and 100W USB Power Delivery pass-through adds four USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) ports (3x USB-A, 1x USB-C) to a USB-C enabled computer. The Hub supports USB-C DP Alt mode on the downstream USB-C port, enabling the connection of USB-C portable monitors or desktop monitors. Connect the USB hub to a USB-C port on a laptop, using the built-in 1ft (30cm) USB-C host cable. Charge a host laptop by connecting the host laptop's USB-C power supply to the USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 port. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 (480Mbps) devices ensures support for a wide range of modern and legacy USB peripherals (e.g., external storage devices - thumb drives, HDDs/SSDs, HD cameras, mice, keyboards, webcams, and audio headsets). The USB hub supports Wake on USB and is compact in size, facilitating portability when travelling.

The downstream USB-C port on this USB hub supports both 10Gbps data transfers and USB-C DP Alt Mode, with support for resolutions up to 4K 60Hz. This enables users to connect either a USB data peripheral or a USB-C portable or desktop monitor. The USB-C port outputs 12W (5V/2.4A) of power to support portable USB-C monitors, or power and charge other USB peripherals. This integration is particularly valuable for enhancing productivity in professional settings and delivering either video or USB 10Gbps performance, depending upon user needs.

This USB hub features USB Power Delivery 3.0 pass-through (up to 100W). Connect a power source to the PD pass-through port to power the host, the hub, and an external display, and to enable full charging capabilities for the USB peripheral ports. PD 3.0 features Fast Role Swap (FRS) to prevent USB data disruption when switching power sources (USB-C power adapter to bus power).

Power the hub using a USB-C power adapter connected or with bus-powered alone. The hub requires up to 18W of power. This power is dynamically shared across the downstream ports. For added protection to this USB hub and the connected host device, the USB hub features Overcurrent Protection (OCP). OCP prevents faulty USB peripherals from drawing more power than is safely allocated.

This device is compatible with all major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS, and Android. The Hub is automatically detected, configured, and installed upon connection to a host computer. This ensures automatic installation and setting configuration with any USB-C laptop, including Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 computers such as Apple MacBook (Intel/M1/M2), Lenovo X1 Carbon and Dell XPS. The built-in extra-long 1 ft. (30 cm) USB-C host cable ensures easy setup and reduces connector strain on 2-in-1 devices such as the Surface Pro 7, iPad Pro, HP Elite X2, and laptops on riser stands.

  • 4-PORT USB-C HUB: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) expansion hub with built-in USB-C host cable; 3x USB-A, 1x USB-C (Alt Mode DisplayPort 1.4 + 10Gbps data), 1x USB-C PD Pass-Through; Overcurrent Protection (OCP) & Wake on USB; Easy driverless setup
  • USB-C VIDEO OUTPUT: USB-C port (video + data) supports video out to a 4K 60Hz portable or desktop USB-C monitor; NOTES: Computer must support USB-C DP Alt Mode; Power adapter must be connected to PD Pass-Through port to power a USB-C monitor
  • RELIABLE PERFORMANCE: USB bus powered or via external USB-C power adapter; 100W Power Delivery 3.0 pass through w/18W reserved for adapter to avoid video flickering, device dropouts or overdrawing power common in other hubs, up to 82W for laptop charging
  • EXTRA-LONG CABLE: Attached 1ft/30cm cable with TPE jacket provides long reach for easy setup and prevents adapter from dangling on the host connector; Ideal cable length to reduce port strain on 2-in-1 convertible laptops, or host laptops on riser stands
  • OUR ADVANTAGE: Included connectivity tools for IT Pros and IT help-desk support teams; Features USB Event Monitoring that logs and timestamps USB port usage enabling admins to identify potentially malicious devices;
